Breathe in, breathe out. Pick me up, put me down. I’m a yoga cow and I am zen and you can put me anywhere including your den. I am black and white but I also have colors but with the glazing layer the colors will never be duller. I do yoga and I meditate and won’t you want me? Please don’t hesitate.
Alebrijes are fantastical creatures of Mexican folk art that first originated in 1930s in Mexico City by the artisan Pedro Linares. Since then, alebrijes have been introduced by Mexican artists and artisans all over the world and the use of different materials has been employed creating a variety of styles and aesthetics.
The alebrije measures 7″W x 10″L x 8″H. This meditative alebrije was carefully handcrafted and painted with bright colors and patterns to bring it to life and give it a personality. It can be placed on any flat surface to keep a watchful eye over the room and your things, all the while becoming the focal point for the brave ones who dare look.
