A 1/4 inch thick board cut to evoke a globe, backed with handmade paper.
In this project I saw the paper and then needed to find it a home. I should have realized the scope of the cut work. Over 150 cuts (averaging 3 minutes per cut) each void in direct communion with its neighbor. No squiggly lines to hide an error or mis-cut. Well, the paper looks great and this is the perfect setting.
This cutting is based on an image from S. Good. I have the full permission to create this art from the image.
As with all my work, I used my scroll saw in the construction of the art, no computer guided tools.
For shipping, my first choice is we meet in the DFW metroplex. However, I will use fully insured UPS shipping at a S&H cost of $87.50.
