This image is cut from a 1/4 inch board over paper.
I saw this image on a sharing site and modified the heck out of it. I love the rotating hearts creating the illusion of concavity. The tiny heart at the center reminded me of a museum poster of Paul Klee’s “Caprice in February 1938”. My Mom had hung in her kitchen by the sink, so her children could contemplate fine art as we washed the dishes after dinner. I guess my Mom’s plan worked.
This image is also presented with in walnut in my collection.
This cutting is based on an image from D. Voss. I have the full permission to create this art from the image.
As with all my work, I used my scroll saw in the construction of the art, no computer guided tools.
For shipping, my first choice is we meet in the DFW metroplex. However, I will use fully insured UPS shipping at a S&H cost of $87.50.
