This image is cut from a 1/4 inch board inlay to another 1/4 inch board.
Green man images are new to me. Apparently, this concept has been around for a long time. Usually, I would use a slab for this type of project but did not have an appropriate piece of wood. The inlay was a nice compromise. This green man has a particularly sour puss. That’s okay, it was a fun project to cut.
The coin in the close ups help indicate how how successful a scroll saw can be in inlay work… providing the guy running the saw knows what he is doing.
This cutting is based on an image from J. Blume. I have the full permission to create this art from the image.
As with all my work, I used my scroll saw in the construction of the art, no computer guided tools.
For shipping, my first choice is we meet in the DFW metroplex. However, I will use fully insured UPS shipping at a S&H cost of $87.50.
